Sharing the rugged skateboard chassis of its truck sibling, the Rivian R1S adds a fully enclosed seven-passenger three-row SUV body with split tailgate seating. With the Max Pack battery option, it commands an EPA-rated range of 410 miles and rapid 220 kW peak DC fast charging. Its adjustable air suspension provides effortless ride height adjustment from low aerodynamic highway cruising to rocky boulder crawling. The passenger cabin is trimmed in sustainable woods, vegan leather, and durable woven floor mats that can be wiped clean after trail outings. Cargo capacity is cavernous, providing up to 104 cubic feet with rear seats flat, supplemented by an 11-cubic-foot front trunk. While expensive and riding firmer on broken asphalt than traditional luxury cruisers, it is arguably the ultimate electric outdoor family SUV.
